Return from Home Page All Sales are considered final unless the item is received damaged in transit. Each item sold is 100% guaranteed brand new unless listed differently in the ad.

Damaged In Transit

If you received your item damaged, many times it is due to negligence on the part of the delivering carrier. Visible damage to the carton/package is not always required.

Many times weight from a heavier package can cause damage to the contents inside without causing visible damage to the outer carton/package.

The Optional Insurance must be purchased to file a claim.

In the case of an item received damaged please follow these steps:

  • If your item was delivered by the USPS, please forward us an email (scan document and email) or fax (864-688-3229) explaining the damages along with the the amounts it cost you. We need your Personal Signature on the note, and as soon as we receive it we will send you the replacement part at no expense to you.
  • If your item was delivered by FedEx Ground Service or United Parcel Service please email or call us (864-688-3229) for us to put the claim in for you.
  • Send us an email at ship@stmparts.com that the above step has been completed and a brief description of the items condition.
  • You must keep the package and all of its contents in your possession until contacted by the carrier for pickup or disposal.

STMPARTS will take over from here! We will follow through the claim process until we are notified of the final outcome of the claim. This process takes approximately two weeks until we will be able to ship you a new item. Please be patient and understand we are not the only ones involved in delivering a package to you. STMPARTS works diligently to resolve all matters until the customer is satisfied. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
