PressurePro™ System Details

  • The Sensors assess/read the air pressure in each tire 12,343 times every day! No other system on the market has this kind of coverage – most others only react to low pressure. Sensors assess pressures anywhere from 5 psi to 199 psi.
  • When the PressurePro Sensor detects a 12.5% drop, a low pressure signal is wirelessly transmitted to the dashboard Monitor. A flashing tire position light, as well as the flashing real-time pressure of the tire, alerts the operator to the low-pressure tire.
  • Should tire pressure continue to drop, a second more urgent alert is sounded when the Sensor detects a 25% drop in tire pressure.
  • Should tire pressure rise over 33%, an alarm will sound if the pressure has remained high for at least 15 minutes.
  • Both the Monitor and the Sensors are portable; they may be used on any other vehicle as well.

No tools are necessary
to install PressurePro and the system is simple to operate. A wireless, tire air pressure sensor (cap) simply screws onto the valve stem replacing the dust cap. The Monitor is powered by plugging into the lighter accessory in the vehicle and displays current tire pressure as well as alerting to low tire pressures with both a visual and audible warning. The sensors constantly read the tire pressure and transmit low-pressure readings immediately when they occur. When tire pressure is low, the monitor identifies the low tire position with a flashing light on that location and an audible alarm to alert to low pressure.

Monitor for Auto, 4-Wheel Light Truck, Van, SUV

Pressure Pro Brings:

SAFETY! - 60 mph, the highway is busy, traffic is heavy and moving fast, rain is beginning to fall – the last thing you want is a tire problem. You feel the vibration in the steering wheel, handling is difficult and you finally get stopped. Traffic is rushing by, and you really don’t want to get out and change a flat. It’s not only inconvenient, it’s also dangerous.

PressurePro monitors tire pressure constantly for you, providing information, which allows you to provide greater safety for yourself and the vehicle. Tires low on pressure run hot, damaging the casings and sidewalls and leading to tire problems. PressurePro alerts you to these dangerous tire conditions – allowing you valuable time to correct the problem. PressurePro, reliable under pressure.

Monitor for Commercial Trucks and Busses with or without Trailers

PERFORMANCE - PressurePro continuously monitors tire pressure to assist in maximizing a vehicle's handling, braking, acceleration and tire life. The early detection of low tire pressures improves the possibility of repair and reduces the risk of permanent tire or wheel damage.

PressurePro is an investment in your vehicle and in your own safety and the safety of those with you. PressurePro gives you confidence in your tires performance and peace of mind while driving.

RELIABILITY - PressurePro has been designed to alert to low tire pressures – under all types of conditions and situations. PressurePro has been engineered for accuracy and dependability – alerting you when a tire loses pressure. Proper inflation increases tire life and fuel efficiency as well as adding greater handling, braking and safety.

We take pride in the reliability, durability and accuracy provided by PressurePro, giving you confidence when it’s most important, on the road. PressurePro provides up-to-the-minute tire pressure status detecting even the smallest changes in pressure and continues to be the easiest and simplest system to install and use on the market today.

SAVINGS Properly inflated tires use less fuel, wear longer, provide greater stability / handling and bring savings. With tires representing the only thing between your vehicle and the ground – at 60 mph – you want to know what your tires are doing to keep the investment in your vehicle safe. Properly inflated tires wear longer, saving hundreds of dollars to replace your tires because of premature wear due to low tire pressures.

Frequently asked questions.

How reliable is PressurePro for different vehicles and conditions?PressurePro has been designed and tested to work under all types of conditions. Reliability of the communication signal is the key to PressurePro systems. A strong signal and sensitivity to the communication requires a unique engineering design to capture the signal under all types of conditions including outside electronic interference, weather and other vehicles. As with cell phones, signal interference is always a possibility, but PressurePro has been designed with redundant signals to ensure greater reliability at all times and under all types of conditions.

Can I monitor an RV and a towed vehicle at the same time?Yes. PressurePro will read the largest RV and a vehicle it tows. PressurePro will work on all types of vehicles with up to 34 wheel positions if needed.

How strong is the signal?PressurePro will read up to 100 feet under most conditions. Radio signals have restrictions placed by law and PressurePro complies with all regulations and FCC guidelines. The signal from the sensor is strong and specific to the receiver, which is tuned for sensitivity to the sensor signal.

What makes my system Sensors transmit?

Sensors will transmit data to the Monitor under the following conditions:

  1. Sensors update every 5 minutes.
  2. Air pressure has dropped below 12.5% of the reference value for tire’s pressure at time of installation. Normal mode pressure transmission reporting takes place every 5 minutes.
  3. Air pressure has dropped to the second alert level, 25% under the original reference pressures. This alert transmits on a regular basis until low pressure situation is corrected.
  4. A Sensor is removed from its tire.

Will PressurePro work on all types of vehicles?Yes. From delivery trucks to RV's to 22 wheel commercial trucks PressurePro will read up to 150 PSI and from 1 to 34 tire positions.

For inside duals with inward facing stems can you make it easier?PressurePro alleviates part of the problem by monitoring tire pressure constantly, alerting when pressure is low and saving you the trouble of having to reach the inside tires to check pressure. No need to manually check tire pressures - using PressurePro makes tire pressure maintenance quick and easy. Another consideration is to use valve stem extensions that face outward and can be reached from the outside dual area.

Can I use PressurePro with equalizers I have on my duals?Yes, systems like this can be used with PressurePro. While the advantage of PressurePro is its ability to check and keep tabs on each tire individually, it is adaptable to work with other systems.

Why is tire pressure important?Government and Industry studies show that keeping tires properly inflated reduces stresses and heat on the tire casing increasing safety and tread life. Properly inflated tires roll easier than tires low on pressure, giving greater fuel efficiency and saving money. Tires last longer saving natural resources and decreasing the waste problem caused by worn out tires. Greater safety is provided for you, passengers, equipment and others who share the road when tire pressure is kept at the proper levels.

How long will the batteries last? The sensors are sealed units and when the system indicates low sensor battery power, a new sensor should be ordered. For most vehicles including RV's and trucks, sensor batteries are expected to last for approximately 3 years and the entire sensor can be replaced at a reasonable cost.

Is theft a problem?Sensor locks are now available, however, theft has not been a problem. With the increased interest in tire pressure monitoring and the increased use of monitoring systems, theft could happen without the sensor locks. PressurePro alerts when a sensor is removed from the system but as with anything, if it is installed, it can be stolen. Our experience indicates that theft has not been a significant problem.

What if I lose a sensor and can it be replaced? Replacement sensors are available by contacting our offices.

Will the installation of the sensors require me to rebalance the tires?

With the majority of vehicles and tires, there is no need to rebalance the tires. Sensors weigh under 2/3 oz. and seldom create an imbalance requiring attention.

What is the cold running reference pressure?

PressurePro Sensors automatically access the pressure in a tire when screwed onto the valve stems. Removing the Sensor from the valve stem for 60 seconds will delete the old reference cold running pressure and allow the Sensor to accept a new cold running reference pressure when screwed back on. It is advised to install the Sensors in the early morning when temperatures are cooler, so as not to cause spurious alerts during the cooler evenings. For example, if one is travelling during the middle of the day and decides to stop to check the tire pressures with a gauge, the working pressure of the warm tires may be 15 psi higher than the early morning cold running pressure. PressurePro will "reset" to this new running pressure (which is higher than it should be). This may cause a false alert when cooler night temperatures occur, or when going up in the mountains where it is cooler. To correct this, unplug the Monitor to turn off the alarm if it is alerting at night, and the next morning, take each Sensor off, wait one minute, and put them back on. They will again reset to a new, lower cold running reference (baseline) pressure.
