These Tail Light Guards themselves are constructed from Heavy Guage Steel. Aproximently 1/4" X 7/16" oval steel around the assemble and 5/16" solid steel round bar center pieces. Which will mount over your existing tail lights and utilize some of the holes already holding the rear lens in place. Keep that mail box from getting you again and causing you to pay a high price for a new rear tail light lens. We have a very small supply of these wonderful guards. When there gone there gone!
